Sample network

Two steps to your network.

Get your contacts from LinkedIn, then upload them to HeyNetwork. About 15 minutes, most of it waiting on LinkedIn's email.

Step 1

Get your contacts from LinkedIn

LinkedIn lets you download your own connections. A few clicks, then they email you the file.

Show me how
  1. On LinkedIn, click Me under your photo, then Settings & Privacy, then Data privacy.
  2. Click Get a copy of your data and choose the option that includes Connections. If you can tick Connections on its own, do that. It arrives fastest.
  3. Click Request archive and confirm your password.
  4. LinkedIn emails you in about 10 to 15 minutes. Open it, click through and download the ZIP.

Works best on a computer. The LinkedIn app hides this setting.

Step 2

Upload to HeyNetwork

Sign in with Google, then upload the file LinkedIn sent you. Your network opens in about 15 seconds.

Upload my file

Sign in with Google above first.

What we use

Only the profile links in your file. We match each to a public career history to place the star. Emails and notes in the file are ignored.

What you control

Keep your contacts so you can come back, or have them deleted the moment your network is mapped. Change your mind any time.

Linking networks

Invite someone to link networks and you both see where they overlap. Only when both of you agree. Either of you can unlink.
